This year, the Imaging & Optics Facility (IOF) again organizes an image competition, with the aim to show the public how the ‘state of the are’ machine park of the Imaging and optics Facility is used by ISTA scientists. We invite all researchers to submit an image – acquired on IOF instrument – to participate in the image competition. This year we are organizing 2 voting campaigns:
i) IOF Open Campus Image and Video Contest: voting will only take place in the voting stand during the Open Campus Event 2023, by the public visiting the Open Campus Day, 2023.
ii) The IOF Internal Image & Video Contest will be open for voting only for the ISTA internal community. All ISTA researchers and employees can vote, based on appreciation of scientific method, technological complexity, and the aesthetic beauty of the images or videos. Information about voting options will be shared separately.
