Planned Power Cut in BFB/i04 + IOF prep and reboot; Scratch4-impact

General:

The building central power supply requires a large electrical maintenance, that will require to cut the power in i04/BFB. The start of the power cuts will begin on 22 October between 07:00 and 08:00 and is expected to last 15 hours per day.

IOF service will be affected in the following manner:

• 21 October: IOF prepares the system in i04/BFB for power-cut: systems will be blocked
• 22 October: 1st day no emergency power – this includes green sockets; Red sockets for approx. 1 hour in the morning at the start of work and one hour after the end of work in the evening
• 23 October: 2nd day no normal net – Normal power failure (white sockets)
• 24 October: 3rd day no normal net – Normal power failure (white sockets)
• 25 October: IOF system check systems in i04/BFB after the power cut: system will be made available after checks are completed

IOF can not risk to run the advanced machine park in i04/BFB during this maintenance

! Scratch 4 will not be available during the planned powercut in i04/BFB

• No data sync of any microscope will happen → data will be synchronized after scratch comes available again
• Data for image analysis has to be copied before October 22, 2024 to own group drives to be available for image analysis!
